Elecom is going to release the world's smallest wireless LAN adapter "WDC-150SU2M" in late April.

The part of WDC-150SU2M that sticks out from the USB port is ONLY 5.5mm long. It's so small that you might forget that you have it inserted in to your notebook PC.  WDC-150SU2M is compatible with IEEE 802.11n/g/b 2.4GHz, and it connects at 150Mbps.

Sycom, Japanese personal computer retailer, has released a 17.3-inch gaming notebook PC "GS70 2PE-004JP" manufactured by Taiwanese MSI (Micro-Star International) for ¥194,800.

GS70 2PE-004JP features the Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX870M graphics. The body is made with aluminum magnesium alloy chassis and is only 21.8mm thin.

Elecom's glasses series that suppresses harmful blue light generated from LED displays will release new reading glasses model OG-DBLC in late April.

The population of senior smartphone, tablet, and PC users has been increasing more and more, so products for blue light suppression have growing interest from seniors. As well as being reading glasses, OG-DBLC is able to cut blue light by 43% and also protect your eyes against UV rays by 99.9%.

Mouse Computer has started accepting advance orders of a super-geeky gaming laptop computer from their gaming brand G-Tune yesterday in a limited quantity - Only 100 units.

The model is called unity-chan! Collaboration Pasokon NEXTGEAR-NOTE i540BA1-Unity. Pasokon means "personal computer" in Japanese.

King Jim's mouse-shaped scanner MSC20 allows you to scan objects such as newspaper pages, magazine pages, and other materials, and save them in a PC as image data simply by tracing the part you want to scan.

It will be released on April 25 for about ¥8,000.

Takara Tomy introduced their new entertainment robot series OMNIBOT, and they are going to release the first 2 robots - Hello!MiP and Hello!Zoomer - on June 21.

Hello!MiP is a two-wheeled robot controlled with human hand gestures. You can control Hello!MiP just by using hand gestures without touching it - called Control Mode. There are other modes through which you can enjoy the robot as well, such as Dance Mode.

Sony has just unveiled a palm-sized 12.2MP full-frame mirrorless camera - α7S - with ultra-high sensitivity 35mm full-frame sensor, that is able to shoot 4K videos.

It combines sensitivity up to ISO 409600 with low noise, using Sony’s new 12.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame Exmor CMOS image sensor and optimized high-speed BIONZ X image processing engine.

At the convenience store chain, Ministop, now you can buy a savory Japanese Okonomiyaki that you can casually eat with one hand.

Okonomiyaki is a Japanese dish (sometimes referred to as a Japanese savory pancake) that you cook on a hot griddle and eat with a lot of special Okonomiyaki sauce, fish flakes, mayonnaise, and green dried seaweed on top. It's tough to eat it with only one hand, but Ministop made it possible to do that with their newly released product called Tsukimi-yaki.

TDK-brand IP64 waterproof wireless speaker TREK Micro A12 will be released on April 21 by Imation.

TREK Micro A12 is a portable palm-sized speaker designed to be used for outdoor activities, featuring 40mm full-range driver and 56mm passive radiator. It's compatible with Bluetooth 2.1, NFC and TrueWireless Stereo which allows you to pair 2 devices of TREK Micro A12 in stereo.

Toyota unveiled the first official photo of the new Lexus NX Crossover, which is scheduled to debut on April 20 at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. Toyota's announcement of Lexus NX shows that Lexus will make a full-scale entry into the fast-growing compact crossover market.

The Beijing Auto Show will open to the public from April 23 to April 29.

Sony is going to release a compact, slick all-in-one audio system on April 19. There will be 2 models available: "CMT-X7CD" with Wi-Fi for about ¥33,000 and "CMT-X5CD" without Wi-Fi for about ¥23,000.

You can listen to music with the audio system by connecting with multiple devices such as WALKMAN, iPhone/iPad/iPod, smartphone, PC, USB memory, etc. directly or via Bluetooth network. It supports NFC, apt-X/AAC codec, and FM/AM tuner. Although it has a slim body, it also has a CD player built-in!
