ASUS is going to launch two new models of their palm-sized desktop PC, the "ASUS VivoMini UN," for the Japanese market. The UN62-W-P104R model is ¥95,000 and the UN42-M064Y model is ¥40,000.
ASUS Japan is going to release new Android 7-inch tablet "ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME171C" this month. Its CPU is AtomZ2520 which consumes low power and makes the tablet run for up to 11.5 hours.

Addtron Technology, a Japanese electrical appliances retailer, is going to release Taiwanese company Vivitek's mobile DLP projector - QUMI Q1 - in late August for about 26,000 yen.

Taiwanese ASUS is going to release a 10.1-inch Android tablet - ASUS Pad TF303CL - on August 2 in Japan. The price will be around ¥46,250.

ASUS Pad TF303CL is a SIM-free tablet so that users can use it with their choice of a carrier and plan.

It features WUXGA (1920x1200 dot) IPS LCD display, Intel Atom Z3745 processor, 16GB storage, microSD memory card reader, microHDMI output terminal, 5MP out-camera, and 1.2MP in-camera.

Paper digital camera "Paper Shoot", invented by a Taiwanese company, Paper shoot Technologies, is now out for sale in Japan.

The body of Paper Shoot is a camera base covered with durable heavy paper. It's only 12mm thin and weights 80g. On the paper body, you can draw or stick-on anything you want and make your very own, one and only, unique design digital camera.

It has a 5MP CMOS sensor and offers 4 different shooting color modes (Classic, Black & White, Golden Memory, and Bruno Benber).

ASUS unveiled the release of their palm-sized projector - S1 - for the Japanese market. It will be out on sale on July 25.

A projection technology called DLP technology is applied for the S1. Thanks to that, S1 reproduces colors better than usual LCD projectors and projects clear images with high contrast. It features an LED light source, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 30~100 inch screen size, 0.73~2.43m projection distance, and maximum luminance of 200 lumen.
