Elecom introduced 2 new models of compact speakers for smartphones today:
ASP-SMP120 (ball-shaped) and ASP-SMP220 (cube-shaped). Both will be released in early July.
Both of them plays music in your smartphone or iPhone (or any other device with a stereo mini jack) by paired up using a stereo mini plug. They have 2 φ50mm drivers and each of the drivers outputs 300mW.
Toshiba is going to release new audio system REGZA Sound System RSS-AZ77 in late August.
REGZA Sound System RSS-AZ77 consists of 3 cylindrical parts: a dual drive woofer (maximum output 40W) and 2 satellite speakers (maximum output 20W＋20W), and it produces a powerful and clear TV sound. It's used by placement behind a TV so that it doesn't interfere with your view while you watch TV.
Princeton is going to release the Christmas ornament-like portable mini speaker series Mini Buddy, manufactured by British audio accessory brand KitSound, on May 31.

Elecom is going to release the compact ball-type mono speaker ASP-SMP050 series - a φ3.5mm stereo mini jack for the earphone jack of any smartphone, iPhone or other devices compatible with a φ3.5mm stereo mini jack.
The ASP-SMP050 series is slightly smaller than an actual ping-pong ball. It is able to output 1.5W powerful sound, which is roughly 8 times more powerful than a smartphone speaker.
