Schedule to hit Japanese shores early next year (Feb 2014), Sharp new IT TV Monitor concept is a 16” (1,366x768) Linux powered Tablet featuring a Build-in Digital TV Tuner Ethernet, WiFi BGN, HDMI Out, NFC, USB, a 0.9Mpix Camera, Stereo Speakers and for a seize of about 243x384x52mm.
While Sharp has not yet discloser which company in Japan will offer this product first we can easily however speculate that this new IT TV Monitor will target elderlies in Japan with dedicated services fitting their needs.
This next generation IGZO MEMS display has been developed by a collaboration between Sharp and Qualcomm subsiduary Pixtronics.
Microscopic MEMS shutters which opens and close are used to control the output of light from the red, green, blue and white LEDs which make up each pixel. By using this system, the display features high levels of brightness and color reproduction in any environment, and significantly lowers power consumption.
Sharp has developed a health care support chair which combines a range of sensors for checking the user's health. It can simultaneously record your blood pressure, temperature, body motion, and pulse waveform, storing the data in the cloud.
Sharp is going to release new electronic handwriting notebook "WG-N20" on August 8.
You can write smoothly in the electronic notebook as if you were writing in a regular paper notebook with a pencil. It is capable of saving maximum 2000 pages/ 100 notebooks so that you can create many notebooks for both personal and professional purposes and manage them easily. You can set the pass-code in order to feel safe to carry around the electronic notebook.
