MINI-REVIEW: CASIO EX-FR100 Outdoor Recorder
Everything about the EX-FR100 Outdoor Recorder feels a little better than 2014's EX-FR10, It’s faster, snappier, button pushes register more easily and the engine generally feels like it’s been overhauled. But what about the output? How's that new sensor, new lens, and what about video? Well, come on in!
REVIEW: CASIO Smart Outdoor Watch WSD-F10 (VIDEO; GALLERY)
This is probably the best Android Wear smartwatch on the market. It looks good. It feels good. It's built to military-grade survivability standards to be water, mud, dust, and drop-proof. It comes with a suite of custom-made, proprietary tools and features...and they're so good that CASIO's Smart Outdoor Watch might be better off without Android Wear.
REVIEW: Synology DiskStation DS1515+, Love at First Byte! [TOP 15 of 2015]
[#1 of 2015's Top 15 Articles] This peculiar black box looks a lot like its predecessors, but with the new Intel Atom C2538 2.4Ghz quad-core CPU, the game is really elevated: the new unit features built-in floating point and encryption AES-NI combined with almost 10% reduced power consumption while producing bursts over twice the computational power of its predecessor.
REVIEW: Casio G-SHOCK GPW-1000 GPS Atomic Solar Hybrid [TOP 15 of 2015]
[#2 of 2015's Top 15 Articles] If you’re reachable by terrestrial radio waves or GPS signals from space, this watch will always be accurate within about 15 nanoseconds or less. And sure, you can pop out the electronic crown with a twist and pull and set the time manually, or just like, you know, pretty much never do that again. Come meet the beautiful hulk!
[#5 of 2015's Top 15 Articles] Some caveats aside, the GH4 has AMAZING 4K video quality and colors that are even better than the Sony AX100. The GH4 offers stunningly sharp videos, which some have complained are too sharp! Seriously guys? Too Sharp? This is freaking 4K here not SD! Dive in for more from Aki founder DAIMAOU!
REVIEW: Sony AX100 4K Handycam (VIDEO; GALLERY) [TOP 15 of 2015]
[#7 of 2015's Top 15 Articles] The FDR-AX100 was the first consumer camcorder that squeezed both a 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor and the ability to shoot 4K Ultra HD 3840x2160 video into a compact-ish body. Does it work? It’s a Sony! BUT, there were a few catches...
Commuter Gamer #7: Passing the Time on Tokyo Trains (REVIEW)
These mobile games are a blend of the surreal and the obscure - like a busy weekend in Harajuku, spend some time in strange company. Beat deadlines and werewolves, deal with random celebrities, master mathematics with livestock or fight your way through a horde of aliens.
iPhone 4K Video Test: Tokyo Monorail Arrives at Hamamatsucho (VIDEO)
Sure, 4K is a relative term when the sensor is in a mobile phone, but if you’ve been shooting pixely mobile videos since the mid-2000’s, it’s pretty much impossible to not be blown away by what this year’s phlabby iPhone can do.

REVIEW: Hazro HZ27WiDP 27-Inch HD Display
Hazro uses the exact same LG display panel in this 27-inch model as Apple uses for their 27-inch iMac displays, and while this year's panel has elevated in quality, the physical design of the HZ27WiDP model makes it really fit in well next to any existing Apple hardware you may have. Jump in for much more!
Fishing in Fukushima with the CASIO PRO TREK 3500 (FIELD TEST)
We didn’t want to just take CASIO’s word that the PRO TREK 3500 watch delivers for the outdoor enthusiast – and they didn’t want us to, either. So we swapped skyscrapers for trees, highways for rivers, and ventured north to Lake Hibara in Fukushima prefecture to put the watch through some real-world trials!
