au Rolls Out Summer 2015 Products and Services
In the first half of au's summer push, new products included 7 smartphones, 2 tablets, and a feature phone for summer 2015. The entire second half was all about Real Service. Just like NTT docomo's event the day before, au shortened the amount of time spent talking about gadgets.
Today, au announced the release of new Android 4.4 kids smartphone model called "miraie KYL23," which politely warns kids not to send derogatory words in a message. Digital nanny? Censor?
au is going to release new 4.5-inch full HD display smartphone with tricolor curvy aluminum body "INFOBAR A03", manufactured by Kyocera, in mid-February. It is very pretty.

au by KDDI is going to release a highly-durable Android 4.4 smartphone, TORQUE G01, manufactured by Kyocera, on July 25.

Today, AkihabaraNews joined au by KDDI's 2014 Spring product rollout event that took place in Bellesalle Shibuya-ku Garden in Shibuya, Tokyo.

At 10 A.M., the CEO of au by KDDI, Takashi Tanaka started his presentation by explaining what has and what will differentiate au by KDDI from the other major Japanese carriers during an era when all the 3 major carriers sell iPhones as well as other leading smartphones.
