Casio's new EXILIM digital camera EX-ZR1600 can pair up with a smartphone on a steady basis. Users can control camera functionality with the smartphone such as activating the camera, checking or copying photos in the camera, saving taken photos automatically in the smartphone, and remotely pressing the shutter button.
Casio is going to release a digital camera EX-ZR1300 from their HIGH SPEED EXILIM series on July 25.
The main feature of the EX-ZR1300 is the Art Shot Bracketing function, which simultaneously takes a normal photo and 4 more photos with 4 different effects (Toy camera, Black and white, Soratama and HDR Art) through one press of the shutter button.
The new Casio EXILIM seriesEX-ZR850 will be available on May 23 for about ¥32,000.
The new EX-ZR850 has an interval photography function that continues taking photos at regular intervals and can do this continuously for a maximum of 20 days, equaling about 500 hours of shooting. For example, you can very effectively track the movement of a flower blooming or scenery changing. There is also functionality to convert the interval photos into a movie.
Casio is going to release the new flagship model of its EXILIM series - 10.7X optical zoom EX-100 - for about ¥90,000 in late March.
EX-100 features 28-300mm range f/2.8 aperture 10.7x optical zoom lens including 12 elements in 10 group lens contraction. It is compatible with macro photography from the shortest distance of 5cm and with telephotography from the shortest distance of 50cm.
