It's huge. It takes over the entire Tokyo Big Sight Convention Center. Each years sees just under a 1,000,000 attendees over the course of 10 or so days. If you can ignore the throngs of douchey psuedo-journalists facing their imminent extinction, the Tokyo Motor Show is a blast!

Toyota announced the addition of a hybrid model to their Sienta minivan series, and now it's available for purchase. Toyota now makes more hybrid vehicles than all other auto companies combined - which we didn't fact check, but it sounds about right.

The brand-new model is called THUMS Version 5. In this version, Toyota has added to the already complex modeling software additional weak and tense muscle models that allow the user to simulate the various positions in which a human body experiences a car crash.

Japanese hobby kit and RC car maker Tamiya has been chasing the Kumamon cash dragon for over a year now, and along with last December’s Kumamon tractor RC car (probably because Kumamoto = agriculture), an RC standard dune buggy has now entered the lineup.

Thanko released a palm-sized full HD drive recorder with a a 1.5-inch LCD display. It's a small device so that it is hardly noticeable in your front windshield view. It's able to shoot 1080p full HD video and shoot clear video in a dark place using the built-in 12 IR lights.
