Olympus' cylindrical, interchangeable lens camera, the "Air A01," will be available for sale on March 25. It's an open platform camera. Olympus' take is to use an open platform camera that's friendly to app vendors and whatever they can come up with.
Olympus is releasing new compact digital camera "OLYMPUS STYLUS SH-2" with optical 24X zoom lens and 5-axis image stabilization system. It will be available for about ¥37,000 on April 10.
Olympus's new mirrorless camera "OM-D E-M5 Mark II" features the 40MP Hi-Res Shot mode, which shifts the sensor in half-pixel steps, captures eight 16MP images over a period of one second, and acquires 40MP images based on the data.

Olympus is going to release a new lens kit - 12-50mm EZ Lens Kit - on August 29. It comes with OM-D E-M5, a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, and an M. ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ lens.

Olympus is going to release an exclusive limited edition camera kit called OM-D E-M10 Limited Edition Kit on June 27. The estimated price is 110,000 yen.

E-M10 is an entry-level OM-D series mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera and it was released in February 2014.

Olympus just announced that they are going to release a compact digital camera specialized for taking photos at construction sites - OLYMPUS STYLUS TG-3 工一郎 (pronounced as Koichiro in Japanese) - sometime in July.

Olympus is going to release the latest flagship model of their rugged compact digital camera series - OLYMPUS STYLUS TG-3 Tough - for about ¥48,000 in the beginning of July.

The new model adds a macro photography mode that enables an approach of as close as 10mm to an object from its lens. In that mode, it can zoom up to 6.9X when the focal distance is 100mm (35mm equivalent), and when used in conjunction with super-resolution zoom, it is able to shoot the object in 13.8X zoom.

Olympus is going to release STYLUS SH-1 for about ¥40,000 from its compact digital camera "OLYMPUS STYLUS" series in late April.

The new STYLUS SH-1 has an exterior design similar to that of Olympus's popular mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series OLYMPUS PEN.
