Yamaha - Play the piano keys on the screen to search for music

Hey, what was that song called again? Here's a great tool to use during Karaoke.

When you cannot remember the title of a song in your head, the free iPhone/iPod touch application Hiichao Kensaku, just released today by Yamaha, could be helpful.

By playing a minimum of 4 tones on the piano keys displayed on the screen, the application will provide you with search results. After 5 tones, it will start narrowing the search and help you to find the song in your mind easily.

Bandai - Gundam Burner stainless tumbler produced by Niigata metal artisans

Bandai will start selling a luxurious stainless steel tumbler - Gundam Burner Tumbler - on February 27. It's made in the motif of the circular truncated cone-shaped injection system "BURNER" that is used in Gundam's mobile suit RX78-2.

This is not a mass-produced drinking cup. The Gundam Burner Tumbler is produced through the craftsmanship of artisans of Tsubame city in Niigata prefecture, Japan, which is famous for its world-class metalworking technique.

Yamaha - Entry AV amplifier with 4K HD and 5.1ch surround playback


Yamaha is going to release new entry model AV amplifier "RX-V377" for ¥44,000 in mid-March.

Although it's an entry model, RX-V377 has an HDMI input that allows the transmission of 4K Ultra HD images. It's also compatible with 3D image transmission, ARC (Audio Return Channel) and linkage with major companies' TV and recorders.

Mouse Computer - "LuvBook" L - 14inch Core i7-4500U built-in Ultrabook

Mouse Computer has announced that they released 2 Windows 8.1 laptop models from their new Ultrabook "LuvBook" L series today.

LuvBook L is a 21.5mm thin 14-inch Ultrabook that has an Intel Core i7-4500U built-in. The display (1600x900 dots) is compatible with 10 points multi-touch control. The 2 models have differences in memory and storage (specs below), but both support Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, USB3.0 x 2, USB2.0 x 1, HDMI output, headphone output, and microphone input.

Samsung unveils the new Galaxy S5

Samsung unveiled their new Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) smartphone Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress 2014), currently taking place in Barcelona, Spain. They will be releasing the 16GB model and 32GB model globally in April.

Nikon - New flagship Nikon D4S out on March 6

Nikon has just revealed that their new flagship Nikon FX format digital single-lens reflex camera Nikon D4S will be out on March 6.

Based on the previous model D4, the new flagship D4S has improved auto focus performance, image quality, operability, etc.

D4S features the image processor EXPEED 4, effective 16.23MP Nikon FX format CMOS sensor, ISO 100-25600, improved auto white balance performance, and 3.2-inch LCD monitor (0.92M dots).

JVC Kenwood - Bluetooth NFC speaker that runs 10 hours

JVC Kenwood is going to release new Bluetooth speaker "SP-ABT1" in mid-March for about ¥11,550.

SP-ABT1 supports Bluetooth 3.0 (SBC/AAC/MP3 codec, and A2DP/AVRCP profile). The maximum communication distance is 10m.  It also supports NFC, making a very easy connection to other devices.  It has 2 40mm full-range speakers and 97x30mm passive radiator so that the compact-sized SP-ABT1 can make powerful sounds.

The built-in lithium polymer battery runs for about 10 hours.
