Canon today announced that on April 22, Canon achieved production of one hundred million of its EF lens (interchangeable lens for the EOS series). As an interchangeable lens, EF lens for the EOS series became the most manufactured camera lens in the world.
Canon started manufacturing the EF lens in 1987. The 100 millionth model that was manufactured was the "EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x".
Nihonwasou Holdings, Inc., a retailer of the Japanese traditional dress, Kimono, is just about to open their 2nd Kimono specialized store for men called - SAMURAI - in Kyoto.
Nihonwasou opened the SAMURAI store in order to encourage guys to wear Kimono more and represent Japan better. Their first store is located in Ginza, Tokyo.

Japanese convenience store, FamilyMart, just announced they are installing charging stations for next‐generation vehicles (EV, Electric Vehicle/ PHEV, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) at roughly 500 of its stores all over Japan after this summer.
As of this month, 34 FamilyMart stores already have charging stations installed.

Rapi:t, a popular sharp-looking rapid train running between Kansai International Airport and Namba in Osaka, is normally colored in blue. However for a limited time until the end of June, the exterior of some of the Rapi:t trains has been changed to red, which is the color of Gundam's enemy, Neo Zeon. The special trains will make a maximum of 8 round trips every day.
