Sinfonia - Resola - solar panel cleaning robot

Sinfonia Technology is planning to release a solar panel cleaning robot "Resola" in autumn 2014.

Resola is like a solar panel version of the iRobot Roomba, and understands its surrounding environment with a sensor and determines its own cleaning path. It cleans up a solar panel with a wiper, brush and pouring water the same way that Roomba vacuums a room.

Make your own 3D figure doll at Tokyo Skytree

Mutoh Engineering is currently holding a printing service event where you can make your own 3D figure dolls at Tokyo Solamachi, a shopping mall at Tokyo Skytree.

This is a collaborated event with Digitizer, a French scanner manufacture. It's open from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M every day until June 11.

Thermoplastic elastomer used as a material for the product, which is a material intermediate between gum elastic and plastic, protects the cable parts from getting damaged.

Philips - Automatic fresh noodle maker customized for Japanese market

Phillips, a Dutch major electrical manufacturer, announced that they are going to start selling a kitchen appliance to make full-fledged fresh noodles called - "Philips Noodle Maker" - in late June in Japan.

The Philips Noodle Maker gets all the noodle making process done including mixing and kneading a dough and quickly makes nice chewy noodles for 4 people in 10 minutes.
