ASUS - Battery built-in compact projector

ASUS unveiled the release of their palm-sized projector - S1 - for the Japanese market. It will be out on sale on July 25.

A projection technology called DLP technology is applied for the S1. Thanks to that, S1 reproduces colors better than usual LCD projectors and projects clear images with high contrast. It features an LED light source, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 30~100 inch screen size, 0.73~2.43m projection distance, and maximum luminance of 200 lumen.

Mouse Computer - m-One 23.6 inch all-in-one PC series

Mouse Computer announced the release of their new "m-One" 10 point multi-touch screen all-in-one PC series.

The main feature of the m-One series is that it has an eco-saving design and measures 33mm deep. It has a 23.6-inch full HD display (1,920×1,080) and pre-installed Windows 8.1 Update.

Studio Ghibli - Omoide no Marnie premiered over the weekend

Studio Ghibli's new featured animated film - Omoide no Marnie (When Marnie Was There)  - was finally released in 461 movie theaters all over Japan on July 19.

It is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (director of The Secret World of Arrietty), and 2 young Japanese actresses did the main character voices: Sara Takatsuki as Anna (She looks exactly like Anna!), and Kasumi Arimura as Marnie.

ONE PIECE VISA credit card with privileges to get original goods

A major credit card company, Sumitomo Mitsui Card announced the start of issuing a ONE PIECE collaborated credit card "ONE PIECE VISA CARD" on July 30.

It's part of ONE PIECE's 15 year anniversary project, and the issuing period is limited to one year beginning on July 30.

There are 2 designs available (Luffy or Chopper).
