NTT docomo today has announced that they are going to start providing a new service called Pet Fit for users' dogs sometime in March. You can remotely check how your dog is, maintain his daily health condition, and find out where he is when he's lost.
Canon has revealed their new entry-level digital single lens reflex camera model - EOS Kiss X70 - will be available for a reasonable price of about ¥50,840 in late March. Its lens kit with "EF-S18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS II" will be released for about ¥60,800 at the same timing as well.
Sony is going to release new compact digital camera DSC-HX60V from their Cyber-shot series for about ¥40,000 on March 7.
Sony is going to release the new Cyber-shot DSC-HX400V for about ¥51,000 on April 4.
DSC-HX400V features an effective 20.4 MP 1/2.3 inch Exmor R CMOS sensor, image processor BIONZ X (same as the ones used for their mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera "α7" series), and optical 50X Carl Zeiss Vario-SonnarT＊ lens (equivalent to 24-1200mm in 35mm format). It also has GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi functions, Multi Interface Shoe (MIS) and 0.2 inch electric view finder (20.1M dots) and tiltable 3-inch LCD monitor (0.92M dots).
As part of its 2014 "SAKURA" series, Starbucks Japan is going to release a seasonal cherry blossom-themed latte and frappuccino on February 15.
They are called "Sakura Chocolate Latte with Strawberry Flavor Topping" and "Sakura Chocolate Frappuccino with Strawberry Flavor Topping".
