From JVC Kenwood's JVC brand, new Bluetooth audio component system "NX-W5" will be out for about ¥35,000 in early November.
"NX-W5" consist of a unit and the unit includes a CD player (you insert a CD from top to bottom), AM/FM tuner, USB terminal, amplifier, and speaker. The control buttons are located at the bottom and a soft lighting illuminates the buttons. It has a sleep timer function and daily timer function (that increases the sound volume gradually up to the level you set).
Last night we were fortunate enough to attend the Great East Japan Earthquake memorial concert - Giuseppe Verdi: Messa da Requiem - at Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
This system synchronizes video tracks with an independent audio source in real-time. It has been developed by researchers at Waseda University.
"Ordinarily, to play video and audio content in sync, some type of synchronization signal is necessary. But this system doesn't need anything like that as it can synchronize video by using sound played in the same space."
In addition to our exclusive close-up footage of Team Skeletonics' human-powered exoskeleton, luckily we also collected a few wide angle and close-up stills. Yeah, we've kinda been fawning over Skeletonics of late. But for good reason: you won't believe what they're working on.
