Sanwa outs a new Handfree Bluetooth speakerphone with NFC

Sanwa introduced today in Japan the 400-BTAD003, a new handfree Bluetooth 3.0 speakerphone. Announced at around 3,480 yen the 400-BTAD003 is far from being your average speakerphone since it comes with a nifty NFC touch that will automatically pair your phone/tablet holding it above the 400-BTAD003.

While you can argue that the usage of the NFC chip is here just another useless gadget you will have to admit that pairing a Bluetooth device this way is by far the fastest and most convenient method we could ever think of!

LightCloth - An interactive cloth woven from optic fibers

This is an interactive optic fiber cloth. It is made of side-emitting diffusive optic fibers so computer controlled light patterns can be displayed on it, and by attaching light receivers as well as light emitters, optical signals can be input using infrared light.

"Originally, we came across the light-emitting fabric, where light is emitted from the optical fiber surface. Conversely, we thought it could be used to input data by receiving light through the surface. So, we've created this kind of interface."
