Introducing Acer Japan's H223HQbmid a 21.5” LCD, and H243Hbmid a 24” LCD, . Both with a very interesting screen resolution of 1920x1080. While many LCDs are 1920x1200, Acer chose to follow the HD trend for these two entry level LCDs starting from 250€ to 330€.
Specwise, the 21.5” has a 20000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 300cd/m2, while the 24” has a 40000:1 contrast ratio with the same brightness. Otherwise the view angle of our LDCs is 160/170 and a 72% color reproductio...

FYI, Samsung just started the mass production of their 256GB SSD, apparently with better performance than their previous SSDs, with a sequential read rate of 220MB/s (megabytes per second) and sequential write rate of 200MB/s.

If you're waiting to jump into the SSD world due to lack of performance, or simply because 128GB isn't enough for you, just wait a bit longer and Samsung will have exactly what you're waiting for!
Looking for a new set of noise cancellation headphones for your iPod? Here's Maxell's shiny new HP-NC20.IP that obliterate anything from 50-700Hz and up to 20dB.

The drawback of these headphones is they lack integrated batteries, meaning they get their juice directly from your iPOD, and by doing so, reduce your DAP battery lifespan.
I still don't get the fact that people need a portable DVD player, unless they're 70 years old… as for the rest of us? Kids maybe? Well my daughter uses my iPhone in the car so…

If you're a portable DVD player (8mm thin) fan,　you'll be thrilled by the SD-P73SW, Toshiba's latest wonder. It features a 7” (480x234) LCD, and supports MP3, WMA, JPEG, and DivX files.

It will cost around 200€ in Japan....

It's been a long time since I've been impressed with a Japanese mobile phone, but today Fujitsu and DoCoMo succeed in doing just that with their Prime F-01A!

What's so special about it? Although appearing like a typical Japanese clamshell (this design has really started to bore me), the Prime F-01A is loaded with stunning features like:
- A nice 3.5” Wide VGA touchscreen,
- A 5.2 Mipx Camera Module with AF and Face Detection,
- A nice VGA video mode at 30fps ...

Logitec Japan will release new stackable HDD enclosures, the LHR-DS series. Available in four colors and with USB 2.0 and eSATA support, they only accept SATA HDDs. With a fairly straightforward system, they operate like a slot-in DVD player, but with an average SATA HDD instead of a DVD/CD.

A simple and easy to use HDD case, I'm sure the series will be a top seller here in Japan. If you're interested you can always check for them online on <a href="http://www.geekstuf...
