NTT docomo - AQUOS PAD SH-08E - Full seg compatible IGZO 7 inch tablet

 

NTT docomo just announced that they will release the full seg-compatible IGZO 7 inch tablet "AQUOS PAD SH-08E", which is manufactured by Sharp,  on August 2.

The combination of IGZO display and large-capacity 4,200mAh battery enables you to use "AQUOS PAD SH-08E" for consecutive 80 hours. It's 107cm wide and weights only 288g so that you are able to keep holding it comfortably for a long period of use such as reading a digital book.

It's waterproof (IPX5/7) and dustproof (IP5X), and compatible with infrared data communication and Xi (maximum speed is 100Mbps).

"AQUOS PAD SH-08E" offers the original application called "Kaku" that allows you to write on the screen directly with the accompanying pen - Kaku means "write" in Japanese. With the "Kaku" application, for example, you can take a note in handwriting or convert the note into PDF file and send it by e-mail.
