VAIO to Unveil New Smartphone in March: This Should be Interesting...
Sony slimmed down, the newly formed VAIO Corporation was releasing new machines by July of 2014 (Japan-only, for now), and now the brand seems to be doing well...enough so, in fact, to diversify: on March 12, the VAIO Corporation and Japan Communications Inc. will jointly unveil their new Japan-only mobile device.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s special wireless LAN task force will begin accepting applications to receive one of the designating signs in just over a month. They also plan to launch a multilingual website to assist foreign travelers with getting their Wi-Fi situation squared away. Sigh…that's a bit of a harbinger.
