Driving Gunma for #MyJapanStory (VIDEO)
From 2008 to 2013, I lived in Gunma Prefecture, drove a Nissan Silvia S14, and found that the best parts of the prefecture - and, in fact, the country - are more often than not the places that are a bit of a drive past the typical destinations, and the best experiences you can have are the ones that you share with the amazing people you meet on the long, winding road.

Giant Star Wars Snow Sculpture Built by Japanese Self Defense Force (Flashbacking)
Now that the building-sized artwork is complete, it seems Darth Vader is once again invading Japan, this time joined by three storm troopers, the Death Star and a TIE fighter. Best of all is his lightsaber, illuminated in red at night.

If wide and short were the overarching themes in automotive bodies at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon, slender and tall (by japanese standards, at least) was the the look most companies went for when choosing ladies’ bodies to bring attention to their short, wide, show ponies.
