TokyoStreetView: Autumn Leaves near Tokyo Tower (4K VIDEO)

From the Editor:
On the tech side of our original video coverage, there's nothing better than the IREX international robotics trade show, or if cars are your thing, the DRiFTWiRED music video shot in the mountains of Tochigi is one of a kind, but we also share more contemplative, day to day slices of Japanese life. In the vein of the latter, we hope you enjoy this beautiful 4K collection (don't forget to dial up the YouTube resolution!).

Autumn Leaves near Tokyo Tower
紅葉

Autumn in Shiba Kōen (park), directly adjacent to Tokyo Tower, is a beautiful time of year. The trees surrounding the Zōjō-ji Temple change into brilliant yellow, orange, and red hues.

We will revisit the Shiba Kōen and Zōjō-ji Temple with a video presentation soon, but couldn't help but share the beautiful, colorful leaves with you in the meantime.

We hope you enjoy this scenery as much as we enjoyed filming it for you.

About TokyoStreetView:
From the Contributor:

Beautiful Japan; a Love Story.
Japan is a world apart from everything you know. It’s a place like no other, built on centuries of tradition and unrivaled attention to detail. Japan is a cultural Galapagos out of reach for many, and it often remains an untouched mystery even for the lucky few who’ve come to call it their home.

A True Contemplative Experience.
TokyoStreetView is born of a passion for life in Japan, and the series aims to offer others around the world a chance to enjoy a bias-free experience of its many wonders. Unlike other videos you may find on Japan, TokyoStreetView’s are purely contemplative: our camera(s) are your eyes and our tripod is your chair, just sit with us, relax, and let an amazing world unfold in front of you in a succession of short ~10-second sequences of RAW 4K video.

We hope our passion for this mesmerizing country will touch your heart, and, through our videos, you’ll feel some of the wonder we held from the first day we set foot on this beautiful archipelago.

TokyoStreetView: Zojo-Ji Temple Part I (4K VIDEO)
What stands out the most at the 425-year-old Zojo-Ji Temple grounds is the striking contrast between old and new Japan. While the surrounding neighborhood is dominated by modem buildings and Tokyo Tower, Zojo-Ji feels like it’s in a time bubble where everything moves at a much slower pace.

TokyoStreetView: Tokyo Tower (4K VIDEO)
Tokyo Tower is in fact thinner than the Eiffel Tower, but 13 meters taller at 333 total. For over half a century, it was the pinnacle of Tokyo and the best place to enjoy a unique view of the region thanks to its two observation decks (at 150m and 250m).

It was revealed that Tokyo Tower will be cast in pink-colored light for one day only to celebrate the official announcement by the Japan Meteorological Agency that cherry blossom trees in Tokyo are in bloom.

The project is the first attempt for Tokyo Tower and it is called Sakura Kaika Pink Diamond Veil (Sakura Kaika means "blossoming of the cherry blossoms"). According to some weather sources, the announcement will be made sometime this week.

The main photo is an image of Tokyo Tower covered with Sakura colored lights.
