EVENT REMINDER: The 'Disrupting Japan' Podcast Live Show in Roppongi

Japanese Startup News from the Heart of the Movement

In late-summer of 2014, with a disarmingly sincere voice seemingly born for the medium and production values uncommon for such a relatively young show, Tim Romero launched what has become Tokyo's preeminent English-language J-startup podcast (more on Tim). Eleven months later, Disrupting Japan boasts an impressive archive of guests and insight spanning the entire spectrum of Tokyo’s startup scene; there truly is no better audio resource.

One Week Out - First Anniversary Live Podcast!

On September 2, in celebration of a solid year online, Tim will record Disrupting Japan live at Super Deluxe in Roppongi. Joining him onstage with be Matthew Romaine, CEO & Co-Founder of GengoHiro Maeda, a VC and co-creator of the Open Network Lab and Beenos startup accelerators, and a special mystery guest TBA (we’re intrigued!). The event is open to the public, conducted in English, includes a Q & A session, and promises to be one of the best networking opportunities we’ve seen this year.

Those interested in Japanese startup/VC culture or just business in general are encouraged to come on out and get into the mix. If there’s any event this year that’ll bring out Tokyo’s startup superstars - sincerely - this is it! In the meantime, visit DisruptingJapan.com to listen and subscribe; it’s ground-level access to a movement many consider the cornerstone, if not the foundation of Japan's future economy.
