Bandai - Highly-evolved assembly Gunkeshi (miniature Gundam models)
In 2015, Gunkeshi evolved big time!
Do you know what Gunkeshi is? It's a series of old-school tiny Gundam models made from eraser-like plastic material, which emerged around 1985. At that time, people were able to buy them through Gachapon (toy capsule) machines, and currently some of the rare models are bought and sold at premium prices.
Recently, Bandai has released a highly-evolved Gunkeshi series called "Build Model Gundam" and adults who were kids back in those days are excited about this release.
It's a bit different from the original Gunkeshi series. The new models are assembly figures and consist of multiple miniature parts. Although they are tiny (about 45mm tall), their detailed designs and colors are impressive.
The line-up is as follows:
- GANDUM (RX-78-2)
- Weapons of Federal Troop
