Panasonic - LUMIX DMC-LX100 - The world's first digital camera with 4/3-inch sensor
Panasonic is going to release the LUMIX DMC-LX100, the world's first compact digital point-and-shoot camera with a 4/3-inch sensor built-in, for about 103,000 yen on November 13.
By using the same 4/3-inch sensor as Panasonic's mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras supporting the Micro Four Thirds system, LUMIX DMC-LX100 brings equivalent image quality to that of mirrorless cameras.
The LUMIX DMC-LX100 features a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens covering focal length 24mm to 75mm, 4/3-inch MOS sensor, 2.75MP dot finder, 3-inch LCD monitor, and Wi-Fi ability.
In addition, it has the same rapid auto-focus system as Panasonic's mirrorless flagship model DMC-GH4.
Regarding videos, LUMIX DMC-LX100 takes 4K video (3840×2160/30p) and full HD video (1920x1080/60p). You can save photos and videos in an SDXC/SDHC/SD memory card.
