Samsung's Something Very Different
One of the most intriguing products in NTT docomo's 2014-2015 Winter/Spring product lineup was Samsung's 5.6-inch smartphone GALAXY Note Edge. Its uniquely beautiful form is a combination of interesting design and practical functionality.

The Android 4.4 GALAXY Note Edge has a uniquely curved edge that is, basically, part of the screen. The edge screen displays and application launcher, incoming calls and message notifications, camera and movie player control buttons, and more. The intention behind the design is to allow users the ability enjoy the wide screen without being bothered by the clutter of icons and notifications.

The phone's main camera has an effective 16MP CMOS sensor and optical image stabilizer, and its front camera has an effective 3.7MP CMOS sensor and and supports 90-degree-angle shooting. Of course, it's a selfie-friendly camera: it features a Wide Shot mode that takes a selfie with a 120-degree-angle by moving the smartphone horizontally to the side.

The processor is a 2.7GHz quad-core APQ8084 CPU. It has a 5.6-inch OELD display, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Further Details:
Two colors will be available: Charcoal Black will be released in late October, and Frost White will be released in mid-November. The phone is 82 x 151 x 8.5 mm and weighs 177 grams.
