Olympus - New EZ lens kit for popular mirrorless OM-D E-M5

Olympus is going to release a new lens kit - 12-50mm EZ Lens Kit - on August 29. It comes with OM-D E-M5, a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, and an M. ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ lens.

OM-D E-M5 was originally released on March 31, 2012. You can read details about OM-D E-M5 in our previous coverage here.

The camera and lens for this new lens kit are coated with a color called Elite Black. The color model used to be only available as an E-M5 12-40mm F2.8 lens kit that was released in March 2014, but it will also be sold as a single camera, not only as a part of lens kit, on August 29.

Nikon has just revealed that their new flagship Nikon FX format digital single-lens reflex camera Nikon D4S will be out on March 6.

Based on the previous model D4, the new flagship D4S has improved auto focus performance, image quality, operability, etc.

D4S features the image processor EXPEED 4, effective 16.23MP Nikon FX format CMOS sensor, ISO 100-25600, improved auto white balance performance, and 3.2-inch LCD monitor (0.92M dots).

Sony is going to release the hand-held XDCAM MemoryCam recorder PXW-X70 as their latest professional-use video camera

Canon has announced the release of the EOS Kiss X7i Triple Zoom Kit. The price will be ¥143,800.

It comes with the DSLR EOS Kiss X7i camera, released in April 2013, and 3 different lenses (EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM, and EF-S 10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM). With these 3 lenses, you are able to cover a 35mm equivalent focal range of 16-400mm.

KenkoTokina, Japanese manufacturer and distributor of optical products and photographic accessories, is going to release a compact digital camera DSC1655Z on October 20.

DSC1655Z will be sold for only 9,400 yen, however it features a Time-Lapse function that takes still images at regular time intervals and automatically makes a movie by putting them together. You can set the interval for 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes.


Ricoh Imaging has just announced that a special limited version of their flagship compact digital camera GR will be out on November 22 - "GR Limited Edition" - ONLY 5,000 units in the world.
