Sony - New premium 42-inch full HD BRAVIA TV

Sony announced the release of new premium full HD LCD TV BRAVIA KDL-42W900B. There will only be the 42-inch model, available for about ¥150,000.

Everyone is recently talking about 4K TV, however according to Sony, it is still the case that more than 90% of people who bought LCD TVs chose a full HD model, not a 4K model. So, Sony made the full HD KDL-42W900B with lots of the technology that is in the 4K TV.

For its image processing engine, Sony used X-Reality PRO - the same as their 4K BRAVIA model (X9200B). To bring the same impression of colors to KDL-42W900B, it also supports X-Tendes Dynamic Range that lets backlight in a bright area partially produce light with double-powered current and TRILUMINOS Display technology.

Regarding sound, it has 10W+10W speakers and S-Master digital amplifier built-in as well as supporting front surround technology S-Force and a sound optimisation function, ClearAudio+.
