Displays will include giant statues of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and event sponsor Chevrolet will also display real-life models of their latest Camaro and Corvette sports cars, as they were featured in the most recent film.

Also on display will be an interactive, 3D projection mapping display to put you into the world of the Transformers, and of course an exhibition of toys and Transformers animation will be included." -Transformers Expo 2014

SCENE IN TOKYO: Tokyo Toy Store - AkihabaraNews.com
Long before Michael Bay, and even before Hasbro's incarnation, Transformers were Takara Tomy's Microman and Diaclone, and Nintendo's Super Mario, long a global phenomenon, was first a game for Nintendo's Japan-only Famicom console.
Akihabaranews.com - Bandai Sushi transform figures

Bandai is going to release a new Sushi figures series called - Gyakusaisei Motomodoru Sushimodoru - (long name!!) to their Gachapon machines on January 22. It's a machine that you insert coins, turn the nob, and get a random capsule toy.

These sushi figures are transformative. Their parts can be disassembled and you can assemble them into the original ingredients of the sushi, for example a tuna sushi figure can be transformed into a whole tuna fish.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Transformers film series, Takara Tomy is going to release fully posable Transformers Movie Advanced Series figures on May 17.
