My Melody Cafe now open in Shibuya for a limited time

We reported about Pikachu Cafe yesterday and lots of our readers seemed to be very excited about its cute dishes. How about My Melody Cafe for those who like Sanrio Company's characters?

My Melody is one of Sanrio's most popular characters and now she has her own cafe - My Melody Cafe - which has just opened in Shibuya PARCO. It's a pop-up cafe that will be open only for a limited time through August 31.

There are many My Melody theme color pink/red-colored dishes available there such as Egg Benedict (1,580 yen) which comes with an original mug cup that you can bring back home, My Melody Coconut Red Curry (1,380 yen), Roll Cake/Swiss Roll (980 yen).



Those who order from the food menu can get an exclusive paper plate mat at the My Melody Cafe.

You can also purchase original goods or take a photo after being "transformed" into My Melody.

Pizza Little Party - 1.2kg Mega Burger Pizza from Kyoto

Pizza Little Party, a home-delivered pizza chain in Kyoto, is going to start selling the massive burger-like pizza called "Mega Burger Pizza" on September 1.

A 400g patty, onion, pickles, and meat sauce, etc. are sandwiched between two 27cm diameter cheesy pizza crusts as buns. It's 2,580 yen and will be sold only for 3 months.

Calbee just released DORAEMON potato chips which will be sold for a limited time only until early May.

They are basic salt flavor potato chips that come with 2 DORAEMON illustrated cards in each bag. There are a total of 72 different cards including "Normal cards" with funny DORAEMON, valuable "Color cards with original drawings", and "Famous scene cards" displaying a whole page from the comic book on the card.

If you are a big fan of DORAEMON, happy snacking and good luck collecting all 72 cards!
