Former AKB48 Tomochin to perform at J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014 in the US

Tomomi Itano, who is a former AKB48 member and known as Tomochin by her fans, is going to perform for the first time in the U.S. very soon at the J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014 held in San Francisco.

She is invited to perform as an "honorable guest".

J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014 is one of the biggest J-POP themed festivals in the U.S. and started in San Fransisco in 2009. This year, it will take place on July 19 and 20 and will introduce a lot about Japanese music, movie, art, fashion, gaming, anime, food and so on.

Other than Tomochin, so far it was announced that May'n (singer), TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE (idol group), Daichi (human beat boxer) and KEI (official Hatsune Miku illustrator) will perform.

Also, Japan Film Festival of San Francisco and the first Ramen festival in Northern California will be held at the J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014.
