Nikon - D810 - 36.35MP DSLR without optical low-pass filter

Nikon announced the release of their new digital single lens reflex camera D810. It will be out on sale for 348,300 yen in mid July.

Also, the lens kit (D810 24-85 VR Lens Kit), which comes with the D810 camera and the AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR lens, will be available for 405,000 yen on the same day.

D810 features an effective 36.35MP optical low-pass filter-less Nikon FX format CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 4 image processor, which bring wide sensitivity range from ISO 64 to ISO 12800 to the camera. It has a 3.2-inch LCD monitor (12.29MP dots).

Regarding the continuous shooting performance, the maximum fps is up to 5 in FX format and up to 7 in DX format. D810 supports shooting 1920×1080/60p  full HD movie.

With Thanko's Night-Vision Scope Camera, you can see clearly something that you cannot usually see in the dark.

Panasonic is going to start selling new interchangeable lens LEICA DG NOCTICRON 42.5mm/F1.2 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. H-NS043 (model: H-NS043) for LUMIX G digital single lens mirrorless cameras using Micro Four Thirds-size image sensor on February 13.

It's certified by Leica for its high quality optics and has achieved fast F1.2 aperture called NOCTICRON. It also has optical image stabilization system POWER O.I.S. to prevent both fast and slow camera shakes.

Those who’ve browsed around our video collection know that we’ve long been enamored with the work of mysterious Tokyo photographer darwinfish105. This latest effort, one we’re putting in the Tokyo Pastel Diorama Series, once again makes the world’s largest city look quaint and cute in one composition, vast and ominous in another.

The new Casio EXILIM series EX-ZR850 will be available on May 23 for about ¥32,000.

The new EX-ZR850 has an interval photography function that continues taking photos at regular intervals and can do this continuously for a maximum of 20 days, equaling about 500 hours of shooting. For example, you can very effectively track the movement of a flower blooming or scenery changing. There is also functionality to convert the interval photos into a movie.

Sanwa Supply started selling a mobile digital microscope and camera (400-CAM010N), which is able to focus on an object with a maximum 500X zoom, for ¥11,800.

400-CAM010N looks like a normal compact digital camera at first sight, but it can take super detailed photos of fine details, such as that of material fibers, that a regular digital camera cannot do. Not just a tool for micro observation, for those who have poor eyesight, it can be used as a magnifier while they read small characters.
