Teens React to 'Attack on Titan' (VIDEO)

"Badass Ninja Guys...Take Down These Giant Titans"

In the just over 4.5 years since it's debut, Attack on Titan has become the most popular Japanese manga/anime product on the planet.

TEENS REACT TO ATTACK ON TITAN, by TheFineBros.
The video here is another one of those generational/cross-cultural looks into how the 'other' views/reacts to a foreign or anachronistic product, situation, etc. In this case, with a exceedingly popular Japanese manga/anime property, it's also a rather interesting window into what your average, everyday American teenagers know about one facet of Japanese culture.

Among the several 13-19 year-olds, we see that one or two of the kids are already really into the series, a few are aware but haven't seen it, and several of them have never heard of it. They all seem affected by what they see, and one young man is even compelled to exclaim “This is some, like, sadistic shit!”

The takeaway is probabaly two things:

1. Anime is everywhere;
2. Some people still don't quite get that it's not just for little kids.

Have a watch, and enjoy!

Sanwa Supply started selling a mobile digital microscope and camera (400-CAM010N), which is able to focus on an object with a maximum 500X zoom, for ¥11,800.

400-CAM010N looks like a normal compact digital camera at first sight, but it can take super detailed photos of fine details, such as that of material fibers, that a regular digital camera cannot do. Not just a tool for micro observation, for those who have poor eyesight, it can be used as a magnifier while they read small characters.
