GUNDAM limited edition G-SHOCK will be available late September

To celebrate the popular anime series Mobile Suit Gundam's 35th anniversary since it was first broadcasted on TV, Bandai Namco and Casio jointly made the "G-SHOCK×GUNDAM" special edition G-Shock model.

G-SHOCK×GUNDAM will be sold for 18,000 yen.

Currently, Bandai Namco is taking advanced orders for G-SHOCK×GUNDAM via the company's online store LaLaBit Market. At the end of September, it will be delivered to those who place the advanced orders.   

G-SHOCK×GUNDAM is made based on GD-100, which is one of the G-Shock's series. As the exterior colors, blue, red and yellow are mainly used just like Gundam's body.

Casio is going to release the rugged BABY-G "BGA-1400" on November 28.

Not only is it fashionable, but it also has beneficial functions for traveling. It displays times in 2 different time zones at the same time. It is shockproof and water resistant to 10 ATM performance to provide comfort while engaging in outdoor activities.

Price differs depending on colors:

Orange - 31,000 yen
White - 31,000 yen

Run'a is going to release a watch with Doraemon design, the "Doratch '14-'15 Limited Edition", to celebrate Doraemon's birthday (September 3, 2112).

2 models will be available on September 3, and both of them will be sold for ¥21,120 and are available in a limited quantity - only 2,112 watches - both numbers commemorating Doraemon's birthday.

Samsung's new Tizen OS-powered wristwatch-style smart device Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo were unveiled at MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress 2014), in Barcelona, Spain. They are due to be released around the world this coming April. The release timing in Japan is TBD.

Both devices have a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display (320x320). They can work with Samsung smartphones so emails, phone calls, SNS messages and so on will be noticed on the display of Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.
