Philips - Automatic fresh noodle maker customized for Japanese market
Phillips, a Dutch major electrical manufacturer, announced that they are going to start selling a kitchen appliance to make full-fledged fresh noodles called - "Philips Noodle Maker" - in late June in Japan.
The Philips Noodle Maker gets all the noodle making process done including mixing and kneading a dough and quickly makes nice chewy noodles for 4 people in 10 minutes.
Actually the noodle maker was already released in Taiwan and China, and Japan is the third country to sell it. However, Philips prepared something special only for Japan.
They got advice from the Japanese instant noodle manufacturer Nissin and made 4 different kinds of noodle-making caps to change noodle shapes. With these 4 caps, you can make Udon, Soba, Ramen and Pasta!
A Japan-only recipe book will come with the device as well.
