The first-ever 3DCG Doraemon Movie will be released on August 8 - "Stand By Me Doraemon"

The first 3DCG animation movie in the long-running Doraemon series will come out on August 8. The title of the movie is Stand By Me Doraemon. It was made to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of Fujiko F. Fujio, who was the original author of Doraemon.

The movie has 2 main themes: "Future of a romance between Nobita and Shizuka" and "From the first meeting until parting between Doraemon and Nobita".

According to the movie creators, this is a movie that adults can related to the story. Of course, kids for sure will enjoy the movie, but the creators want adult to watch it at the theater and to bring to mind something important that Doraemon has taught them in childhood.

To be honest, for someone like me who has grown up with the Doraemon series, Doraemon and other characters in 3D look a bit strange, and it takes some getting used to. But, 3D makes all the Doraemon's magical tools look very cooler and quite real.

The special trains will make a maximum of 8 round trips every day.

Sony revealed that they are going to release an Evangelion model of their portable audio player WALKMAN F series.

There are no specifics out yet except that it will be a high-resolution audio player from the WALKMAN F series, and that it will possibly be based on the WALKMAN F880.

Sony will start accepting advance orders in late April. To those who want to purchase it, Sony will provide updates and a release schedule by email and people can register for the service on a special website for the Evangelion model.
