Mouse Computer - 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 Tablet Kagerou Project model

Mouse Computer announced that they are going to release Microsoft x Kagerou Project collaborated 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet for 59,800 yen in late July.

The collaboration tablet is manufactured by Mouse Computer and called "Kagerou Project Tablet (LP-KP101W8-A)".

Kagerou Project is a popular cross-media (vocalic song, animation and novel) series created by a media creator Jin. The tablet is born as part of a joint campaign supporting young creators' creative activities between Microsoft and Kagerou Project.

The Kagerou Project Tablet has a 10.1-glare LCD display (1280x800 dots/10-point multi-touch).  It also features 1.58GHz Dual Core Celeron N2807 CPU, 2GB DDR3L, 64GB SSD, 1MP front/5MP rear camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, microHDMI, headphone/microphone terminal, and SDHC/SDXC compliant SD card reader. Microsoft Office Home and Business 2013 is pre-installed.

A motif used in one of the Kagerou Project songs called "Headphone Actor" is used for the tablet's exterior design.

With the accompanying Bluetooth keyboard, you can use the tablet in a laptop PC style.

ASUSTeK Computer, a Taiwanese computer peripheral company, is going to release 2 new tablet models from their Android tablet "ASUS MeMO Pad" series soon in Japan.

On June 13, 7-inch model ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME176 will be released. After that, 8-inch tablet ASUS MeMO Pad 8 ME181 will be released on June 20.
