MOSDO! - Donut burger & rice burger dessert?

A bit confusing.

A collaboration project of interesting burgers called - MOSDO! - between the Japanese burger chain, Mos Burger, and the doughnut chain, Mister Donut, was just released today.

These new burgers are created under the theme of "Swap items between Mos Burger and Mister Donuts".

At Mos Burgers stores, you can buy a burger that has a spiral-shaped chorizo, lettuce and spicy chili sauce sandwiched between Mister Donut's French Cruller donut as the buns until the beginning of July. Thank God they removed the sweet glaze from the original French Cruller for the new burger. The combination of fluffy French Cruller, fresh lettuce, and spicy taste could be awesome.

At Mister Donut stores, Mos Burger's famous rice burger with sweet bean paste, sweet potato paste, and custard cream stuffing is available as dessert. For Japanese people, since we have a rice cake covered with sweet bean paste - called Ohagi - the new rice burger doesn't seem too crazy. But for those who are visiting Japan soon, it could be quite an experience. It will be sold until late August.

Japan is awesome especially when it comes to food, culture, entertainment, and of course, geeky techie things, however Japan is not awesome at all regarding the coffee situation. It is usually very bitter or extremely watered down and diluted. One of the most popular types is called "American" at a regular cafe. If you order this, you're basically getting bitter coffee diluted with hot water.

In Japan, there are lots of restaurants offering an all-you-can-eat or all-you-can-drink service, which means you can eat as much Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ), sushi, alcoholic drinks or sweets as you want (menu differs depending on the restaurant) for a certain amount of time. However, we have never heard of an All-you-can-eat Convenience Store…

Today, a new type of Yakiniku (Japanese-style BBQ) restaurant called Tokkyu Yakiniku has opened in Osaka, Japan.

"Tokkyu", a part of the restaurant name, means express train in Japanese. The reason why the restaurant was named like that is obvious: at the restaurant, all the dishes and drinks are delivered on a moving plate on a train track. Yes, it's like a Kaiten-sushi / Rotating sushi / Sushi train, but instead of sushi, slices of meat come to your table by express train.
