Taihei Environmental Science Center has developed a system that automatically performs water quality testing, and can detect bacteria such as E. coli. In the past, this work had to be done manually. The system uses three robots to completely automate all stages of the process, from collecting a predetermined amount of the sample, injecting agar, agitating, coagulating and inverting, to the placement and storage of the culture in incubators. This level of automation not only eliminates human error, substantially improving test accuracy, it also increases processing capacity.

TokyoStreetView: Roppongi Hills (4K VIDEO)

It offers a stunning panoramic view of Tokyo from either its rooftop, the Sky Deck, or from the 52nd floor of the building.

Mutoh Engineering is currently holding a printing service event where you can make your own 3D figure dolls at Tokyo Solamachi, a shopping mall at Tokyo Skytree.

This is a collaborated event with Digitizer, a French scanner manufacture. It's open from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M every day until June 11.

2x3D, developed by the Shirai Lab at Kanagawa Institute of Technology, is a system that lets the same screen be viewed simultaneously by people who want to watch it in 2D and 3D.

Whereas conventional passive 3D systems use polarizing filters for both the left and right eyes, this system uses a special picture-generating algorithm. Pictures for the left eye can be seen with the naked eye and only pictures for the right eye need to be viewed through a polarizing filter.
