Sony 4K Projector - AkihabaraNews.com
This is Sony's vision of the interactive, intuitive, omni-utilitarian projection screen-covered living space of the future they hope to sell us, and although most of the concepts they showed were just that, we're kinda ready to start throwing cash in their direction now.
REVIEW: Sony AX100 4K Handycam (VIDEO; GALLERY)
The FDR-AX100 was the first consumer (provided those consumers were well off) camcorder that squeezed both a 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor (same one as the RX100) and the ability to shoot 4K Ultra HD 3840x2160 video into a compact-ish body. Does it work? It’s a Sony! BUT, there were a few catches...
Screw-on Strap/Lanyard Bracket for iPhone
Bulkier iPhone cases have long offered this functionality, the iPhone itself has not and probably never will. Since Japanese consumers like the feature, and the iPhone is the best-selling phone in Japan, with typical shrewdness Thanko swooped in and solved a problem we were barely aware that we had.

Here at AkihabaraNews, we’ve dedicated thousands of hours to bringing you the best Japanese robotics coverage on the internets. CASIO Launches EX-FR100 'Outdoor Recorder' Action Cam (GALLERY)
This is not necessarily a pro-level device, but that is not a pejorative - the EX-FR100 is high-end action camera for an underserved market: civilians - civilians who want to easily and creatively capture, summarize, and share the mundane-to-most but precious-to-them moments of life.
Commuter Gamer #7: Passing the Time on Tokyo Trains (REVIEW)
These mobile games are a blend of the surreal and the obscure - like a busy weekend in Harajuku, spend some time in strange company. Beat deadlines and werewolves, deal with random celebrities, master mathematics with livestock or fight your way through a horde of aliens.
REVIEW: CASIO Smart Outdoor Watch WSD-F10 (VIDEO; GALLERY)
This is probably the best Android Wear smartwatch on the market. It looks good. It feels good. It's built to military-grade survivability standards to be water, mud, dust, and drop-proof. It comes with a suite of custom-made, proprietary tools and features...and they're so good that CASIO's Smart Outdoor Watch might be better off without Android Wear.
Thanko Spy Watch Shoots HD Video & Stills, Stores Data - AkihabaraNews.com
Why Would a Wristwatch Shoot HD Video? It’s a more than fair question, but asking why Thanko does what it does is practically anathema to their entire business model.
