Mazda - Roadster 25th anniversary special edition - 25 cars ONLY

Mazda announced release of an exclusive limited edition of their Roadster series (known as MX-5 Miata in North America) to celebrate the car's 25th anniversary.

They are going to accept orders for this limited edition model at a special webpage starting at 8 P.M. on May 27, Japan time.

Only 25 cars will be available and will have a price of 3,250,000 yen.

The special model was unveiled as the 'Mazda MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition' at the International Auto Show that took place in New York City in April. The model released in Japan this time is customized for Japanese users.

It is made based on the Roadster Power Retractable Hardtop featuring an electric roof system. It is a beautiful car including a metallic red exterior, black roof and door mirrors, off-white leather seats, etc.

Yamaha Motor's lightweight two-seater car, MOTIV, which was unveiled in last year's Tokyo Motor Show, is rumored to be out for sale in 2015, starting in Europe.

MOTIV was jointly designed with a team including Gordon Murray (Gordon Murray Design) who has worked with McLaren F1. It's built based on the skeleton frame "i-Stream" technology that consists of steel pipes and carbon.
