At NTT docomo's 2014 summer rollout on May 14, in addition to the 6 new smartphones, 2 tablets were introduced.

The Aquos Pad (SH-06F), at 11cm, is paperbook-sized so that it's easy to be carried with one hand and you will be able to read e-books for a long time with less stress. The Xperia Z2 Tablet (SO-05F) looks remarkably beautiful. The view from the side is especially slick, metallic, and cool.

With the narrow frame technology EDGEST, 81% of the Aquos Pad's front side is a screen. The 7-inch tablet weighs only 233g, which is currently the world's lightest tablet among all over 7-inch tablets with built-in LTE. It's IPX5/7 waterproof so that you can comfortably use it outside or around the kitchen. The IGZO display and 4,200mAh battery make it possible to enjoy reading as an e-book or surfing the internet for a long time.

To celebrate the release of the Hatsune Miku collaborated Xperia smartphone "Xperia feat. HATSUNE MIKU SO-04E" from NTT docomo, for a limited time, Metro Hat (one of the buildings at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo), has been transformed into the Hatsune Miku outdoor concert venue.

"HATSUNE MIKU AR STAGE" takes place only from July 16 to July 21, from 19:30 to 23:00 every day for 5 days.

NTT docomo is finally going to start selling a wristwatch-style wearable device for child "Dococchi" a.k.a child tracker next month. Do parents really, REALLY need this much control and oversight?
