Nikon - Nikon 1 S2 - Entry model MILC with 20fps auto focus performance

From Nikon's mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series Nikon 1, a new model called Nikon 1 S2 will be released for about ¥50,000 in June.

The features of the Nikon 1 S2 are its compact body (190g, 29.4mm thick), and the world's fastest auto focus speed among all interchangeable-lens digital cameras already released - 20fps.

Nikon 1 S2 has an effective 14.18 P Low-pass-filter-less Super High Speed AF CMOS sensor, new image processor EXPEED 4A and 3-inch LCD display (0.46M dots). It is able to shoot full HD quality movie (1920×1080/60p) for up to 10 minutes. It supports microSD / microSDHC / microSDXC memory cards as recording media.

It will be also sold as a lens kit:

- Standard power zoom lens kit (About ¥60,000) which comes with a lens "1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM"
- Double zoom kit (About ¥80,000) which comes with 2 lenses "1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM" and "1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6"
