Jeremy Meets Japan - Hokkaido: Otaru (VIDEO)

Jeremy Meets Japan - AkihabaraNews.com

Japan is in Vacation Holiday Mode
Here we are, once again in the midst of Japan’s yearly Golden Week, a 10-day stretch of spring garnished with national holidays that basically shuts down almost every industry save tourism & travel. Apropos to that, some good travel video was in order.

A French Connection:
We first encountered Jeremy Touitou’s Tokyo-based YouTubing a few months back, and as he’s progressed, we’ve become more and more interested in and appreciative of his quirky, funny, dare we say ‘French’ perspective. Yeah, we dare.

After getting in touch, we got a few words from Jeremy on Jeremy and Jeremy Meets Japan:

"Jeremy is a multi-task French guy actually based in Tokyo. While showing different cultures on his videos, he has as much fun finding the perfect epic music for them. He is also an electronic music producer, and doesn't say no to some good video games."

Yeah, we like that. And we enjoy the European perspective on Japan - it’s not entirely common.

Latest Video: Hokkaido Tour; Otaru
Northwest of Sapporo, Otaru lies directly on the Ishikari Bay (map). According to Jeremy:

“Let’s go 45km away from the main Hokkaido City to find ourselves in Otaru. A town which has a lot to offer from delicious seafood to nice sightseeing spots! Between the mountains and the sea, let’s discover that charming place.”

With Thanko's Night-Vision Scope Camera, you can see clearly something that you cannot usually see in the dark.

There is a 7-level adjustable infrared mode to see objects in dark places. A 3X power telescope and 2X digital zoom lens enable you to observe distant objects. Also, you are able to shoot still/moving images with it so that it might be fun to use it on your friends - scare them at night-time and record their reaction!

It is also usable in the day time as well by using the infrared cut filter attached to the body.

From Thanko's "Gorone" (means lay down/bunk down) series, a new tablet and smartphone stand to support your smart device for you to use while you lay down was just released.

It's not easy to use a tablet or smartphone while you lie on on your bed. That will eventually give numbness in your arms. But, if you have the stand, there will be no need to hold your tablet or smartphone and then you can enjoy using it for a long time without your arms getting tired.
