JTT - In-car Karaoke system

JTT, Japan Trust Technology, has released the in-car Karaoke system Driving Karaoke! Kuruma-Utamaru.

The in-car Karaoke system is compatible with any downloadable Karaoke applications for iPad/iPhone/Android. Music played through the smart device and the singing voice through the microphone are sent to your car's FM radio tuner via FM radio wave, and then they are played from the car stereo. The Driving Karaoke! Kuruma-Utamaru set consists of either 1 or 2 microphones (depending on the set), Karaoke unit with 2 microphone input terminals, FM transmitter, and cigar plug.

You can also sing with a video streaming service like YouTube.

The microphone's volume and echo volume are adjustable with the dials at the side of the Karaoke unit.

The set with a single microphone is ¥4,980, and the set with 2 microphones is ¥5,480.

This system synchronizes video tracks with an independent audio source in real-time. It has been developed by researchers at Waseda University.

"Ordinarily, to play video and audio content in sync, some type of synchronization signal is necessary. But this system doesn't need anything like that as it can synchronize video by using sound played in the same space."

Toshiba is going to release new audio system REGZA Sound System RSS-AZ77 in late August.

REGZA Sound System RSS-AZ77 consists of 3 cylindrical parts: a dual drive woofer (maximum output 40W) and 2 satellite speakers (maximum output 20W+20W), and it produces a powerful and clear TV sound. It's used by placement behind a TV so that it doesn't interfere with your view while you watch TV.

Teragaki-Labo unveiled a speaker device that produces sound from a stylish, curved plate. The speaker is called Music Plate.

The price will be about ¥250,000. They will start accepting advanced orders on August 1 and delivering to buyers around early September.

Music Plate generates sound by vibrating a built-in voice coil located at the bottom of the device and transmitting the vibration to the front plate.

Taiko no Tatsujin comes home (If you have V-Drums and iPad)!

Bandai Namco's Japanese drum rhythm arcade game, Taiko no Tatsujin, is now playable on Roland's electronic drumset series V-Drums. Roland is a Japanese electronic musical instruments manufacturer.

Ocharaku, Japanese specialized store for headphones, is going to release 2 models of new In-ear canal earphones.

These 2 models have a different length of phase correction tube built-in. According to Ocharaku, every person has a different length of the external auditory canal, and the sounds you hear become better when the length of the earphone tube and ear canal are as close as possible.
