King Jim - Interval camera recorder "recolo"
An interval camera recorder called "recolo" is going to be released by King Jim on May 16. It might be the best product available to use for recording the growth of plants or of scenery.
recolo has a high-quality camera with effective 2MP CMOS (1600x1200). It pieces together photos shot at a certain interval that you set, and saves them as a movie on an SD card. The interval can be as quick as one second or as far apart as one day. There are 5 kinds of shooting modes available: Normal, Monochrome, Vivid, Vintage and Instant. Before staring shooting, you have to set only 3 things: interval, playback speed, and shooting mode.
Even when you leave recolo outside and it suddenly starts raining, there is no need to panic since it's IPX4 water-proof.
It has 1.4-inch LCD monitor (128x128dots). With 4 size AA batteries, it is able to take 5,000 photos with a second interval, and 730 photos with a day interval.
