Panasonic - 4K VIERA AX800 series is out in May

Panasonic announced that their new 4K Ultra-HD VIERA TV - AX800 series - will be released in mid-May. 5 models will be available:

Standard Design Model:
- TH-58AX800F (58 inch)
- TH-50AX800F (50 inch)

Slant Design Model:
- TH-65AX800 (65 inch)
- TH-58AX800 (58 inch)
- TH-50AX800 (50 inch)

AX800 series has a wide color gamut 4K panel with Hexachroma Drive technology to maximize the 4K panel's performance and to faithfully reproduce detailed colors. To give users a comfortable viewing experience, a voice-activated navigation system or My Channel function allows you to customize contents depending on different audiences.

With a smartphone that has the Panasonic TV Remote 2 application installed, you can share contents between a smartphone and the VIERA TV or you can use the smartphone as a remote control for the TV.

Panasonic's new 4K30p movie-shootable wearable camera HX-A500 will be available for about ¥42,000 on June 12.

HX-A500 has a unique style where its body and lens parts are separated. So, while the lens is positioned and worn, you can control the camera through the body part.

Panasonic is going to release 2 new models of their business-oriented tablet TOUGHPAD. The Windows 8 embedded handheld model "FZ-E1" will be out in mid-June and the Android model "FZ-X1" will be out in late August.

They feature a highly sensitive touch panel that enables full control even while wearing gloves and allows proper operations even when wet.

Panasonic is selling a 9-megapixel omnidirectional camera that triples the resolution compared to conventional 3-megapixel cameras. Unlike cameras to date, this new camera also offers three Intelligence features.

Panasonic is going to release 2 new models from their compact LCD TV series "Portable VIERA" on June 15. Portable VIERA is a TV with a handle which allows you to move it easily from one room to another.

The angle of the display is adjustable: 4 degrees to the front and 16 degrees to the back.

Panasonic - LED Video Light - Illuminate objects naturally while shooting a video

 

Even in a dark place, Panasonic's new "LED Video Light" mounted on your video camera will illuminate objects naturally and you will be able to take a clear movie.

It has 36 white high-brightness LEDs built-in and the luminance is 1500 LUX at a distance of 50cm from the object. You can adjust the brightness with the illuminance dial.
