Honda - Futuristic & Cool themed new motorcycle gets pricing & details

Honda's stylish new 745cc motorcycle NM4-01 (announced here a few weeks back), has been given a price: ¥999,000 (~$9,999); and it will go on sale April 21.

It was first shown to the public at the Osaka Motorcycle Show that took place in March.

NM4-01 was designed with "Front Massive Styling" and "Cockpit Position" as a concept. Front design expresses boldness and massiveness. The mirrors and LED headlight built-in the fairing makes a characteristic front face. The backrest is adjustable for 4 levels of the horizontal position and 3 angle levels.

It features a digital meter panel that changes its colors among 25 colors according to DCT (dual-clutch transmission) drive mode. Riders can set their favorite colors.

Honda’s released the second chapter of the manga detailing their return to the world’s toughest rally raid. 

Honda debuted their new lightweight convertible model "S660" today. It will be the first lightweight convertible to be released by Honda in 19 years since production of the Honda Beat was discontinued in 1996.

After Honda Aircraft Company conducted a flight test of their lightweight jet Honda Jet on June 27, they announced to the public the success of its maiden flight. It became an important milestone toward manufacturing the mass-production model.

Honda to Build New Test Course and Mega Solar System in Tochigi Pref., Japan

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced plans that it will build a new test course and mega solar system in the city of Sakura in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.

Originally planned in 2007, but postponed due to the economic slowdown, Honda's new test course will be approximately 25 hectares in size and will be utilized for the development of advanced safety technologies.  The original plan was for a large-scale, high-speed 4km circuit, but the company decided to modify the purpose and scale of the project.
