Ahh yes, AUTOWAY. Some might remember their last uhhh, intriguing marketing campaign that we covered last December. Jump through and have a look. Interesting way to sell - of all things - car tires.

We really do wonder if it works. 
Notoriety? Yep. Moving car tires? Hmm.

“Suddenly Explode/Pop!”

You can probably see where this video’s going. It begins with what appears to be a teenage girl, the star of AUTOWAY’s new marketing campaign (see the image below, too), droning on about teenage girl stuff.

In webcam conversation with whomever, she’s talking about her new bloomers and teasing a show. She's in love with her silly hairstyle and just can't possibly imagine getting it cut… you know, the things that matter before the prefrontal cortex is fully formed.

So, how does the (in)famous AUTOWAY bring this one back to reminding us about the importance of tires?

Takara Tomy introduced their new entertainment robot series OMNIBOT, and they are going to release the first 2 robots - Hello!MiP and Hello!Zoomer - on June 21.

This is an interactive optic fiber cloth. It is made of side-emitting diffusive optic fibers so computer controlled light patterns can be displayed on it, and by attaching light receivers as well as light emitters, optical signals can be input using infrared light.

"Originally, we came across the light-emitting fabric, where light is emitted from the optical fiber surface. Conversely, we thought it could be used to input data by receiving light through the surface. So, we've created this kind of interface."
