This shouldn't require too much explanation for most readers, because if you're here at AkihabaraNews in the first place, chances are exceedingly high that you either are an Instagram user or at the very least know what it is...but just in case:

As with our presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Soundcloud, and flickrInstagram is a social media sharing app focused primarily on photos and short video clips, with the occasionally useful and/or interesting comment. The limits provide a sort of relaxed version of social media.

Now Uploading:
A few months back, we opened...errr, began using our Instagram account and are now sharing the best images from the site, exclusive mobile content from reporters on the scenes, and whatever interesting J-tech or cultural artifacts and phenomena we come across here in Tokyo and in our travels around Japan.

Give us a follow for a steady stream of updates on what we're doing, what we're looking at, and where we do it. Get dialed into our ground-level take on Japan and Asia Tech, Cool, and Cultural News.

Sure, the images we post on Facebook are good for late-breaking, catch as catch can J-tech coolness, but nothing beats the the high-res presentation of a well assembled Flickr gallery. And we're not getting kickbacks to say so, but come on - a terabyte of free storage? Uhhhh, yes please.
