Canon - PowerShot N100 with sub-camera allowing simultaneous subject and user images and stories
Canon's new compact digital camera PowerShot N100 is going to be released on April 17 for about ¥34,800.
One of the features of the PowerShot N100 is its sub-camera with 25mm wide-angle lens called Story Camera. The camera takes the photographer's face as well as the subject when the shutter button is pressed.
It has other functions such as Dual Capture that records synthesized still/moving images taken with the main camera, Plus Movie Auto that records both still and moving images taken for 4 seconds before the shutter is pressed, and Story Highlight that automatically selects good still/moving images and makes an album.
This camera is about making/recording a story. Watch a story unfold and a photographer's happy face taking a photo of his baby.
PowerShot N100 has effective 12.1MP CMOS sensor, optical 4X zoom lens that covers focal length options ranging from 24mm to 120mm in 35mm equivalent, and tiltable LCD touch monitor that enables you to control with 2 fingers.
